More of a David Axelrod record than an Electric Prunes LP, Release of an Oath is superior in every possible way to its better known predecessor, Mass in F Minor. Late 60s prog/psych rarely sounded so classy. Ed note: Beware, this can send you down an Axelrod rabbit hole from which you may never emerge. Tread lightly.
