After a long, long wait (15 years?) I was finally able to cross paths with the mighty Spiritualized last night. Soul thoroughly cleansed. Here’s a beautifully shot 45 minutes of them at the 9:30 club last Friday, courtesy of NPR. They’re also streaming the complete show (audio only) below the video embed.

In case you didn’t know the mind-blowing attention to detail Fleetwood Mac paid to their records, check out Lindsey Buckingham’s breakdown of the individual tracks on “Gold Dust Woman” (starting at 2:42). Netflix is currently streaming the entire Rumours Classic Albums episode and it’s tremendous.
Willard continues his streak of incredible posts with a re-up of a fine 2-disc David Crosby comp, aptly titled Alternate Tunings and Nautical Themes. If you’ve never explored Crosby early 70s output, this is a fine way to immerse yourself.
